AR Designs is a multidisciplinary architecture, interior design, landscaping. urban planning firm founded in 2015.
Mr. Ammar Shums is the Principal architect and founder of this firm. A young and dynamically creative artist, the team design approach is to reconnect architecture with nature, make efficient use of space, natural materials, magical play of lights and back to earth landscape to reinvent and transform living environment and urban spaces.
We have a knack of approaching each project regardless of size and space with an understanding that architecture has a unique power to influence lifestyle, work environment, moods and productivity of people working and residing in these spaces.
Our forte is giving attention to details and customization. Honesty to design, client satisfaction and sustainability are the driving forces along with ability to constantly explore and evolve.
Attaining a balance between functionality and aesthetics, context, climate, material cost and time frame has always been our constant endeavor and prime motive which has in turn has guaranteed customer satisfaction.

Ammar Shums is design principal at AR Designs since 2015. He maneuvers the studio with a belief in a technically appropriate and ecological sensitive approach that weaves together threads of traditional wisdom into design. His intention is to manifest creative expression stemming from the journey of self – discovery and an ever evolving understanding of life.
He heads the team, guiding the team in a range of institutional, residential, cultural projects, interior and furniture design. An approach he believes can make design expressive and meaningful. His academic qualification includes Bachelor’s in commerce and further a Bachelors in architecture from Vadodara . He also has done specialized architecture courses from Auroville Pondicherry.
